Winegrad, Hess, Friedman & Levitt, LLC, is pleased to announce that Christopher L. Merrill  has joined our firm as an associate in our real estate department.  Chris will concentrate his practice in general real estate matters, including community association law and its related areas.

After he graduated from McDaniel College in 2011 with a double major in Business Administration and Accounting Economics, Chris studied law at the University of Baltimore School of Law.  He earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2014, and attained the distinction of magna cum laude.  While in law school, Chris was a staff editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review and a member of the Cardozo BMI moot court team.

Chris is a member of the Maryland State and Baltimore County Bar Associations and also holds a Maryland real estate broker license. Prior to joining our firm, Chris was an associate at a litigation firm in Baltimore and then the managing attorney at a title company where he obtained experience in title underwriting, real estate settlements, drafting real estate documents, handling real estate disputes, and general real estate matters.

Chris is a native of Maryland and lives in Towson with his wife.
